RODA Pure Base WH 0303 is a ready-to-use shoe upper base coat compound with 50% bio content for corrected grain bovine shoe upper brush-off and patent leather articles. The product is based on PUD and acrylic polymers with auxiliaries. RODA Pure Base WH0303 is typically applied by roller coating, resulting in a very good coverage and adhesion as well as dry and wet flexes. RODA Pure Base WH 0303 is marketable in Europe, China and all countries which have no chemical inventory system in place.
Another new bio finishing product for shoe upper and leather goods articles is RODA Pure Finish 5090 which is particularly suitable for fashionable and glossy topcoats. In addition to ahigh gloss, RODA Pure Finish 5090 imparts good rub fastness, high abrasion resistance and very good milling properties. Like most topcoats, it is recommendable to crosslink RODA Pure Finish5090 topcoats with crosslinkers from the AQUADERM XL or the RODA Link ranges. RODA Pure Finish 5090 contains 61% bio content and is marketable in Europe and all countries which have no chemical inventory system in place.
RODA Pure Finish 6271-B comes with a 53% bio content and imparts a very pleasant feel and very good physical properties and a low re-polish effect. The product is commonly applied by spraying after the addition of suitable crosslinkers out of the AQUADERM XL or the RODA Link ranges. RODA Pure Finish 6271-B is marketable in Europe, China, the U.S, and all countries which have no chemical inventory system in place.
TFL has also launched the following bisphenol optimised, genuine replacement syntans in response to ECHA restrictions. TANIGAN BN-O Liq is a new bisphenol optimised replacement syntan with a BPS (Bisphenol S) content of <0.1% and zero BPF(Bisphenol F). TANIGAN BN-O Liq is an ideal retanning product for soft and round leather articles with low astringency resulting in good milling performance. TANIGAN BN-O Liq can be applied as a single product, or in combination with other syntans or vegetable tannins, for either wet-white or wet-blue retanning. Recommended application amounts based on shaved weight for wet-white are between 6% to 25% and, for wet-blue, 6% to 15%.
TANIGAN RL-O Liq is a new bisphenol optimised replacement syntan with a BPS plusBF combined content of <0.1%. TANIGAN RL-O Liq is an ideal retanning product for very soft leather with a high degree of filling. It also has excellent tanning properties and a high degree of whiteness together with good lightfastnessand moderate heat yellowing resistance. It can be applied as a single product, or incombination with other syntans or vegetable tannins, for wet-white or wet-blue retanning. TANIGAN LF-O Liq is a new bisphenol optimised replacement syntan with a BPS content of <0.05% and zero BPF. TANIGAN LF-OLiq is the ideal product for tight, non-plumped smooth grain leather articles. It demonstrates a high degree of whiteness and gives a fine grain together with a very uniform milling pattern. Itis an ideal retanning syntan for wet-blue based nappa articles.
TANIGAN FA-O Liq is a new bisphenol optimised replacement syntan featuring a high renewable bio-content with a BPS level of<0.05% and free of BPF. TANIGAN FA-O Liq features a well-balanced performance of roundness, fullness and shade intensity. It is an ideal product for full and firm leather articles aswell as for retanning waterproof articles. TANIGAN VR-O Liq is a new bisphenol optimised replacement syntan with a BPS content of <0.05% and zero BPF. TANIGAN VR-O Liq combines tightness with good softness and provides good fastnesses to both light and heat. It is highly suitable for articles with high fastness requirements, such as automotive leather.
TANIGAN DS-O Liq is a new bisphenol optimised syntan, featuring pronounced dispersing and tightening effect with a BPS content of <0.01% and zero BPF. TANIGAN DS-O Liq is used in combination with other syntans or vegetable extracts to achieve a good dispersing effect and thus a tighter grain. It can also be used in the pre-tanning for wet-white supporting the de-watering for a better shaving result.
