Leather chemicals manufacturer TFL has completed an expansion project at its factory in Huningue in France.
It announced this upgrade a year ago and has now completed the project without interrupting production at the site. The expansion increases the plant's capacity to produce syntans by 35%. In addition, the new installation means TFL will now be able to produce syntans and fatliquours at Huningue using the same equipment. Global head of production Patrick Marias said it will allow TFL to increase productivity and have greater control of batch quality at the French facility.
