On January 30th 2019, TFL celebrated the opening of a new Application Centre for India on its premises in Ranipet, Tamilnadu, India. Customers from all over India participated in the event.
The new facility will be utilized to create customer leathers according to the latest style, as well as evergreen articles, representing the traditional Indian market. In the main display room, a permanent leather collection is exhibited, illustrating the latest fashion trends as inspiration to visitors and to encourage customers to adopt new effects on their own leathers.
The opening ceremony started with a traditional Pooja for the new finishing lab, followed by the ribbon cutting by Mr. Mohammed Thameem, Director of KH Group, Tamilnadu, Mr. Diganta Ghosh, Head of Sales TFL India and by Mr. Roberto Italia, Global Head of Sales Shoe, Upholstery and Leather goods, TFL.
A trendy collection was presented, directed by TFL's fashion consultant Emanuele Zamponi along with Roberto Borgia from TFL's Technical Centre Fashion Finishing in Italy. Awarded models showed various en vogue accessories, produced with leathers from TFL's Spring-Summer 2020 collection.
The guests enjoyed the presentation, music and catering as well as the networking, returning back home full of new ideas. We are sure they will come back, taking advantage of the new infrastructure of the TFL Application Centre India and the service of the Application Center team lead by Solomon Athiyamaan and his assistant Subramanian Pandyarajan.
