On January 30, TFL celebrated the opening of its new Application Centre for India at its premises in Ranipet, Tamil Nadu. Customers from all over India participated in the event.
The new facility will be used to create customer leathers according to the latest styles, as well as classic articles, representing the traditional Indian market. In the main display room, a permanent leather collection is exhibited, illustrating the latest fashion trends and to encourage customers to adopt new effects on their own leathers.
The opening ceremony started with a traditional Pooja for the new finishing lab, followed by the ribbon cutting ceremony led by Mohammed Thameem, Director of KH Group, Tamil Nadu, Diganta Gosh, Head of Sales TFL India and by Roberto Italia, Global Head of Sales Shoe, Upholstery and Leather goods, TFL.
A trend collection was presented, directed by TFL's fashion consultant Emanuele Zamponi along with Roberto Borgia from TFL's Technical Centre Fashion Finishing in Italy. Models showed off various leather accessoires, produced with leathers from TFL's Spring-Summer 2020 collection.
The new TFL Application Centre India in Ranipet, is led by Solomon Athiyamaan and his assistant Subramanian Pandyarajan.
