Delime and bating - Acid bates

"Acid bates" are an important tool for the fine adjustment of the process to meet specific quality needs. Check the application and special properties of TFL's low pH active enzyme products.

OROPON DVP and WB - these are bates designed to work at pH ranges 3-5 and may be used to rebate pickled stock to remove creases or to produce increased softness for garment or gloving leathers. In addition they may also be used to loosen double faced sheep skins for greater softness. In some circumstances wet-blue may also be slackened with these products.
