Physical tests for finished leather - Light resistance

Important test carried out exposing the leather samples to a xenon lamp for a definite time. The purpose is to determine the degrading of colour or of the appearance. Leather for upholstery or automotive interiors require a particularly higher light fastness as the "lifetime" of those articles is several years.

Physical tests for finished leather - Low temperature flexing
Test carried out similarly to the previous ones, but normally at a temperature below 0°C. It can vary depending on the articles produced (boots for cross-country skiing, work shoes and leather for automotive interiors). The temperature can reach also -20 till -30°C.
